Many writers think of brilliant plots and then add characters in later. This process can work, but it has a tendency to lead to characters that aren’t fully realized.

In this course, learn how to create unique, three-dimensional characters FIRST and then build story from character.

This process can be used by screenwriters, novelists, playwrights, and all other storytellers.

With about 75 minutes of video content, this course is meant to be easily repeatable, giving you handy tools that you can refer back to whenever you’re creating new characters — or refining old ones.

On Character Will Teach You...

  • The difference between Character Sketches and Backstory (and why you need both)
  • How to do character research
  • How to craft your character's Internal Story and their External Goal
  • How to create supporting characters and antagonists suited to your main character
  • AND it will give you access to a private student forum where you can seek and give feedback on the characters you create
